How I Fixed my Keyboard…

How I fixed my keyboard when some of the keys are not working. I was about to write a blog today but I ended up spending two hours trying to fix my keyboard. The characters 3, 4 , E, D, A, X were not working earlier. I researched and tried all possible solutions including uninstalling and installing the keyboard drivers. I am a person with almost zero knowledge about computer hardware but I managed to learn how to remove a laptop keyboard and keys within an hour. It was actually easy, I thank all youtube tutorials that helped me. I scanned a lot so I was not able to copy the links. I apologize for not posting it. I removed all keys which are not working (the cover).

Anyway, after two hours my keyboard keys are still not working. Then I wondered if some other keys are not working. I googled “kybr tst” luckily “keyboard test” appeared. I tried this link “http://en.key-test.ru”. By pressing each key, the website records what is working. So aside from the first characters that I mentioned, the arrow keys and f3 and f4 were also not working. I then removed f3 and all other keys started working. I think the F3 was stuck so all other keys did not work. After removing F3 and F4, the keyboard is working a hundred percent.

So, if some of your keys are not working try the keyboard tester and if F3, F4 is not working – it was probably stuck.

Mental Health for the “BER” Months

Christmas is near and it is getting cold. Due to some circumstances, I was not able to create a good article for the past months. This “BER” Months, I prepared an amazing topic for everyone. In line with minimalism, I will start an article on mental health in the Philippines. I was about to finalize it today but because of the keyboard, I have to delay it for tomorrow.

MENTAL HEALTH is neglected in the Philippines and I believe that many Filipinos are suffering from it but they are unaware of it. Some might misunderstand themselves and hate themselves for feeling a certain way or reacting in a certain way. I am glad that other countries are now considering mental health as something serious and life-threatening. Mental Health problem can lead to self-harm and worse, suicide.

Hence, our “BER” Months will focus on Mental Health, Awareness, and Mindfulness. These words are a bit new in the Philippines but hopefully, they will become useful to you as it was useful to me.
