Best Animated Movies you probably never watched

These movies are Gibli movies from Japan. What I like about them is the story and animation. They are classic animated movies with deep plot and interesting characters. I will not reveal any plot of the story so that there will be no spoiler alert.

1. My neighbor Totoro

The setting of this place is in one of the province of Japan. The place is relaxing and peaceful that’s why I love watching it. It is a Fantasy movie with great animation. I like looking at the different Shrines, old school house, rain in the fields, and the wind. It is a movie that you will want to watch after a stressful day.

2. Spirited Away

The plot is great and there are so many characters that might spook you out. The setting is somewhere in a parallel world full of creatures . It is a bath house where witches, and other unknown creatures will visit and lurk.

3. Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind

I think this story is popular in Japan because some Anime made parodies about this. Watch creatures that you never seen and interesting plot which I really love. Learn about ohms and decays and how different kingdoms fight for their ideals. How the mythical creatures will play in the fight of humans.

4. Princess Monoke

One of my favorites with its nasty and interesting creatures. Watch the scary Nago and the Forest Spirit as you engage in mythical story of the forest and people. Choose a side among different ideals and decide who will you support.

5. The Tales from the Earth Sea

In a kingdom where wizards, witches, and dragons are present one will ask, are you afraid of death? To what extent will you fight to escape death?

6. The Cat Returns

Do you love cats? Do you want to become one and live in the Kingdom of Cats or will you escape from it? Watch Baron and Muta come to life and fight.

7. Castle in the Sky

Have you seen a ball of cloud full of lightning before? I did and now I wonder if inside it is a castle in the Sky.
